We are delighted to share with you the very first edition of the Meads Bay Beach Villas monthly e-Newsletter! This e-newsletter will provide news and useful information about MBBV as well as giving you the latest news from Anguilla. We welcome your comments and submissions. Good quality digital photographs will also be considered for inclusion along with guest reports.

For those not in the know yet, Meads Bay Beach Villas (MBBV) is a collection of four (4) two-bedroom private villas on Meads Bay Beach, on the western shores of Anguilla in the British West Indies. Opened in November 2006, the property is situated directly on stunning 2-mile Meads Bay Beach, and offers one of Anguilla’s exclusive beachfront villa settings, where guests step out directly onto the powder white sand of Meads Bay. The warm turquoise ocean water is only steps away from each villa. Meads Bay Beach Villas is the perfect option for honeymooners, couples, families and friends. We look forward to welcoming you to our little slice of paradise one day soon!

About a decade ago my wife and I stumbled upon the hidden gem that is Anguilla, and we were instantly taken by the beaches and the food. But it only takes a few days, as I'm sure you'll agree, to figure out Anguilla's true secret weapon: The people.

The friendliness of the people and the way they interact with their island is what gives Anguilla its unmistakable charm. So when I decided to build Meads Bay Beach Villas a few years ago, I wanted to incorporate the island's greatest resource, the people, into everything. I wanted the villas to be designed by Anguillians, built by Anguillians, and run by Anguillians. I wanted to capture as much of that charm as possible and create a place where guests could feel at home, even while on vacation.

Now, in our third season, I can safely say that it is the people who have made Meads Bay Beach Villas a success. From Delta and Lolli waiting to greet you with wide open arms and even wider smiles, to our valued guests and the fondess they develop for the staff and property. I'm very proud of the number of repeat guests we host and the way many guests genuinely care for the property. One of our favorite guests even brings his tool belt down to do handiwork!

We look forward to welcoming you to Meads Bay Beach Villas - either for your first trip, or for a return visit. I am delighted to announce that our rates will not be changing for the 2009-2010 season and we are offering a number of specials that make an Anguilla vacation even more affordable this summer and fall.
